Collegial reactions

Some individual colleagues showed solidarity. However, the majority distanced themselves, including long-standing colleagues.

Press reactions

• The regional daily newspapers in Duderstadt, Göttingen, the Harz region, Hanover, and also supra-regional outlets reported negatively and one-sidedly about my case approximately 20 to 30 times in total.
• Several detailed interviews, particularly on vaccine criticism, were broadcast on television and radio programmes on Hessischer Rundfunk, NDR, MDR, Spiegel-TV, Arte, and other broadcasters from 2020 onwards at intervals (heavily censored and cut!).
• On numerous alternative platforms, by contrast, I was able to express my opinion openly, mostly uncut and uncensored.

Outlook

Despite everything, I would act the same way again. My patients had a right to individual medical assessment, and I had the duty to provide it.

I hope that this documentation contributes to informing the public about what happened to physicians in this country – and that such events are never repeated.

I wish to emphasise that, like my courageous colleagues, I have always acted strictly in accordance with the Hippocratic Oath, the Declaration of Geneva, the Medical Professional Code of Conduct, and the Nuremberg Code, for the welfare and protection of my mostly underage patients.
