There are two proceedings:
Repeated and intentional issuance of inaccurate medical certificates (mask exemption certificates), or attempted issuance, in at least 80 cases (Art. 318 § 1 Swiss Criminal Code)
- Since I had been involved with Aletheia (and also MWGFD) from the beginning – with various letters to the cantonal councillors, the Federal Council and the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) – I was visible on the Aletheia website. As a result I occasionally received email requests for a mask exemption certificate. Since it was physiologically clear that masks do not protect but rather cause more harm, I issued such a certificate. A journalist who did not identify himself as such and pretended to have an anxiety disorder used this to publish an article in many well-known newspapers, from Geneva to Rorschach – something I only noticed through a sudden enormous spike in requests. He reported it to the cantonal health authority. From this arose a disciplinary procedure with approximately CHF 5,000 in fines.
- As a consequence I only issued such certificates after a detailed history-taking in the practice or by telephone. I had learned that politics does not acknowledge the harmful effects of masks in everyday use when handled improperly, although the WHO had documented this inefficiency for use in the general population back in 2019. But certain school heads took offence at the certificates. They copied the mask exemption certificates and sent them to the judiciary. This led in April 2022 to a criminal prosecution with a house search in the form of a large armed police operation, followed by interrogation at the criminal investigation department.
- The confiscated medical records were unsealed in a subsequent and lengthy administrative procedure, and only on 10 September 2025 did the court hearing take place.
- During this four-hour interrogation (a public hearing with an audience), around 20 medical records were named publicly with name, date of birth and complaints, and I was questioned about them. (So much for medical confidentiality!)
- The public prosecutor requested 18 months of suspended imprisonment plus an unspecified fine on the grounds of often missing physical examinations.
- The verdict announcement was scheduled twice and then postponed. Since the end of September I have heard nothing more. (The judge is said to be in burn-out, and the entire Bernese judicial system to be at its limit.)
- It is utterly senseless to wear a mask outdoors against the spread of an infection, especially since the mask officially offers no protection against viruses.
- I merely adhered to the Declaration of Geneva and protected people from a harmful intervention.
I have the certainty of having done the right thing – morally and ethically, in accordance with the Declaration of Geneva: “I WILL NOT USE my medical knowledge to violate human rights and civil liberties, even under threat.”

I have also come to the realisation that totalitarianism is increasing and that these are political judgments – in an unjust state, where the government no longer governs for the people, but increasingly against them, in the interest of corporations and high finance.
There was a total failure of the medical profession – both individually and collectively – particularly of the medical society and of the associations such as the FMH (which is why I left the FMH).
Without the submissive participation of many – the majority – of doctors, the crime of the bogus pandemic could not have been carried through.
The persecution was triggered by the press, in the form of articles about a psychiatrist in Bern who issues mask exemption certificates. Without the press there would have been no pandemic.
On account of my medical ethics I could not have acted differently; I have protected people from a harmful measure.
