Help us make the persecution of doctors visible.
Your case deserves to be heard. We document cases of doctors who have been professionally or criminally prosecuted for exercising their medical freedom of conscience.
Since 2020, hundreds of doctors in German-speaking countries have been persecuted — for issuing mask exemptions, providing individual vaccination counselling, or publicly criticising health policy. Many lost their medical licences, their positions, or were sentenced to prison.
These cases are reported individually, but nowhere are they systematically compiled. There is no comprehensive overview that makes the full extent visible. We want to change that.
The platform «Doctors of Conscience» documents each case objectively and respectfully: with timelines, professional backgrounds, types of persecution, and in the affected doctors’ own words. The platform is trilingual (German, English, French) to attract international attention.
Every documented case makes the overall picture more complete. The more cases we compile, the clearer the pattern becomes — and the harder it becomes to dismiss this persecution as isolated incidents.
Your story can give courage to other affected colleagues. It can serve as a source for journalists and lawyers. And it can help ensure that the reckoning with this era does not take place without the voices of those who paid the highest price.
Whenever a reckoning takes place — it will take place. And then this website can serve as documentation and archive.
We would like to invite you to document your case on our platform. For this purpose, we have prepared a questionnaire covering five areas:
The questionnaire serves as a guide — you decide what you wish to disclose and what not. Of course, we appreciate as comprehensive an account as possible.
Concerned about publishing your case under your real name? An anonymised presentation is also possible: under a pseudonym, with abbreviated name and/or without photo.
Your information will be used exclusively for publication on the platform. There is no tracking, no cookies, no sharing with third parties. You will receive a preview of your profile before publication and can request changes or withdraw publication at any time.
For security reasons, we do not store contact data, personal data or – in the case of anonymous reports – information that could reveal the reporter’s identity on our servers. Such documents are stored exclusively on local encrypted hard drives.
Send the completed questionnaire to mail_at_aerzte-mit-gewissen.de
If you prefer not to transmit your documents by email, other transfer methods are of course available. Contact us – we will be happy to discuss alternative communication channels.
If you have questions in advance or would prefer to speak by phone, please arrange a call with us by email.
There is no time pressure – but every day these cases remain undocumented is a day they could be forgotten.
